MOET celebrates outstanding achievement by former student Steria Botha

Steria Botha, aged 14 and a former student at MOET Primary School, has been awarded a Press Trust Scholarship after achieving the highest score among all girls in Mangochi District.

The scholarship is awarded at the national level to the two best students in the Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education examinations — one girl and one boy.

Press Trust will be responsible for her school fees and learning materials from September 2026, when she begins her second year, throughout her academic and professional education.

MOET, which endeavours to promote education among orphans and vulnerable children so that they can achieve economically independent futures and fulfil their aspirations, is very proud of Steria’s outstanding academic achievement. The organisation also anticipates sending more students to national secondary schools in 2026.
