Amy Warner

Amy has been involved in charity work since 2005, having worked in charities dedicated to education, the environment and international development.

Her Story

Amy started working with FOMOE in 2019. Having grown up in South Africa and travelled around southern Africa, she has a deep love and understanding of Africa and its unique challenges. Having found out about FOMOE , she was deeply impressed by MOET's journey from teaching under a tree to establishing a well-respected primary school.

She has not yet travelled to MOET, but is planning a trip soon. Her favourite thing about Africa is the smell of the bush, watching proper thunderstorms break over the savannah and being woken at 4am by a cacophony of birdsong.
