Patterson’s blog: Children learn life skills during holiday Cookery Club

During the holidays, education at Moet doesn’t stop!
Moet continues to run many vocational skills programmes that are enjoyed by the pupils.
One of the most popular courses is our Cookery Club.
Pupils are taught how to cook so that they can cook healthy food that will preserve and supplement their diet.
They can also learn to make some food that they can sell so that they can make some money. Some lovely examples of the tasty food that is made are sweets, scones and samosas.
We are very grateful for the help of Veronica Ndembe and Yamikani Luka who run the classes.
In these pictures you can see they have made chapatti ready for samosa.
