MOET SCHOOL IS A PERMACULTURE LEARNING CENTRE

MOET is popularly known  for its practice of  permaculture , because of this it is a permaculture learning centre. In 2010 MOET was identified the by Regional School and Colleges Permaculture Program to facilitate the introduction of integrated land use design in government schools  along the lake shore.

 This school is along the Monkey Bay Mangochi road  was identified where trainings are done and land use design has just started .

 In 2 years time, Mtonda school should be able to harvest some fruits, vegetables, harvest running water and make use of the land that was at first unproductive to be productive.
