MOET ex-volunteer raises money for flood victims

Marie Blankenbanch one of the first group of  volunteers  fron Germany to MOET  haviing heard of the catastrophe that befallen theorphans at MOET raised MK300,000 for the victims. Below is a handing over of the equipment to the victims.MATERIAL DISTRIBUTION TO FLOOD VICTIMS

2015 rains have been disasterous that many houses in Malawi have been destroyed.  Many families are homeless due to floods. Some orphans learning at MOET have been affected too. People are seeking shelter in churches and schools

As one way of relieving the suffering MOET distributed some necessities. The affected guardians to orphans were given blankets, plastic pails, toiletries, plates, cups and some food items. The idea is for them to use as they are waiting for the dry season to rebuild the houses
