In a time of uncertainty, some positive news

It has been a busy few months as usual at MOET and although there is always lots to do, we are always making great progress. Here is an update on what we have been up to.
New skills
Mangochi Orphan Education and Training (MOET) aim to provide vocational skills training to children to help them become self-reliant economically in future. With an increased number of students gaining interested in sewing, MOET bought 4 new sewing machines to add to the existing 6. It is great to see the growing appetite to learn practical skills alongside academic studies. This wouldn’t be possible without the help and support of the friends of MOET.
Tasty Tomatoes
Tomato growing helps support fundraising efforts at MOET. Starting a bit earlier this year, grown tomatoes are already near flowering which is great! Currently MOET grows tomatoes and maize. After harvesting we sell the products and any funds raised from doing so are used at MOET for sustaining school operations and initiatives such as buying school uniforms for orphaned pupils. Produce is also used to support our feeding programme.
As always, we are thankful for our donor and volunteer support. If you would more information on how you can help, you can find out more on our homepage.
