FUNDING OF NEW SCHOOL UNIFORMS BY ACKWORTH UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, USA

MOET School established in 1999 had been operating without school uniform until 2011.  In 2010 MERCER University students visited the school.  Among the visiting team there were some members belonging to Acworth United Methodist Church from U.SA.  It was this church which donated the first school uniform through        Dr. Zipangani  Vokhiwa, a lecturer at MERCER University.          

However, one pair of school uniform could not stand the pressure for three to four years.

In 2013 – 2014 academic year, Acworth United Methodist church had to come in again.  In the picture above,  students enjoying the new school uniform that has just been distributed.

We thank Acworth United Methodist Church of USA for again funding school uniforms for the second time in four years.  We therefore do not take this for granted and make sure learners are able to keep the clothes clean.
