Desk Donations That Made a Difference!

With our perpetual increase in school enrolment rates, we have been experiencing increases in demand for learning resources. This demand has been accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic which has made it difficult to share equipment between pupils. As a result, we were delighted to hear that in April, Katholiecke Scholengemeenshap Etten – Leur (a school in the Netherlands) made a generous donation of 30 desks to MOET school!
The pupils at MOET were so grateful for this donation of chairs and tables! It had become difficult to ensure the children were socially distanced whilst learning as the only desks perviously owned by MOET were designed for 2 students at a time. These prior desks had un-detachable seats which consequently meant the students could not distance from one another when using the desks. The tables and chairs donated by Katholiecke Scholengemeenshap Etten – Leur are detachable and have ensured that the children have been able to study in a socially distanced manner. This has significantly reduced the risk of COVID-19 transmission and allowed us to promote the safety of our pupils.
We and the pupils at MOET would like to give a massive thank you to everyone at Katholiecke Scholengemeenshap Etten – Leur for their kind donation!
