British Council Grant of £3,000 given to connect classrooms at MOET School and Armathwaite School

We are delighted to announce that Armathwaite Community School in Cumbria has been successful in winning a British Council Connecting Classrooms grant (see http://schoolsonline.britishcouncil.org/programmes-and-funding/linking-programmes-worldwide/connecting-classroom).  £1,500 is being awarded to each school (MOET and Armathwaite) to enable a reciprocal visit and to provide some supporting curriculum materials.

Schoolchildren in Taiwan raise over USD1,000 for MOET School

Many thanks go to Sallisha Browne and the children of Washington Bilingual Elementary International Preparatory Studies, based in Taichung in Taiwan for their very generous donation of USD$1,078.95 (£636.85).

9 YEAR OLD WILLIAM CYCLES 25 MILES FOR FOMOE

Just wanted to give a HUGE thanks to William Hall, aged 9, who has completed a 25 mile sponsored cycle ride and raised £300 for FOMOE! Really impressive work, William.  Thank you so much – this fundraising will make a big difference to the children at MOET School so is really fantastic!  Good work!
