Student Nutrition

The cost of living especially to rural Malawians is a real challenge. Food prices including Maize have increased making it not affordable for many of the families of our pupils. To ensure the nutritional needs of the students are met, MOET has changed its school feeding program to make sure that children are fed before and after they finish classes for the day. This is vital as many students do not go home at lunchtime as their families cannot afford to feed them.

We are very thankful to The Competition and Fair Trading Commission who supported us with food items when they visited us. Without this, two meals a day for our students would not have been possible.
